Call for Art: Vicinity 2026
Artists are invited to submit one original piece of 2D or 3D artwork in any media or process to be judged for the Norris Gallery Vicinity 2026 show.
Exhibit dates are September 19 – November 1, 2026. Giclees, reproductions, and artwork previously displayed in the Norris Gallery are not eligible. All work must be for sale and must be original in concept and execution. There are no established theme, media or process requirements for Vicinity 2026. Work must be appropriate for all audiences.
The submission deadline is Friday, September 11 between 12 – 4 pm. All work must be dropped off in person to the gallery. The non-refundable entry fee is $30.00 (cash or check). All work is FOR SALE. Vicinity 2026 judges are Louise Grissinger and Fatima Figueiredo, who will judge all submissions on September 12. Artists will be notified about the status of their entries September 13.
The gallery committee will host a free, public reception honoring the exhibit’s artists on Sunday, September 27, at 2 to 4 p.m. in the gallery, during which awards will be announced and presented.
Artists must pick up their works at the gallery on Monday, November 2, from noon to 4 p.m.
