After the year we’ve all experienced, we deserve to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with friends and live music, so let’s make it St. Patrick’s Week and save some celebrating for Saturday, March 20.
Yes, The Norris returns to our “home away from home” – the Baker Community Center – with a live concert at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 20, featuring our favorite Irish pub band, The Ragged Rascals. One of the Chicago area’s most popular and longest-established Irish folk bands, The Ragged Rascals perform authentic Irish folk songs, street ballads, rebel and drinking songs, sea shanties and other traditional music in the style of the Clancy Brothers, the Dubliners, the Chieftans and the Irish Rovers. Prepare for a rousing evening of Irish-inspired entertainment.
We’re limited to a socially-distanced audience of 50. Seating will be at round tables of four, so attend with friends or expect to make a couple of new friends. You’re sure to enjoy the intimate atmosphere at one of St. Charles’ most historic venues.
Special thanks to our season sponsor, Meyers & Flowers Trial Attorneys, now in their sixth consecutive season of providing generous support to all Norris Cultural Arts Center events.
Please note: we’ll be video recording this performance with multiple cameras, including some cutaway shots to the audience. We plan to make the recording available on our website as a pay-per-view video.
