Tatum Langley – the versatile singer, actress, and dancer – returns to our Saturday Night Lights series to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Baker Community Center. Her program – “Where or When: A Century of Songs with Tatum Langley” – is not only a nod to the Rodgers & Hart tune of that name from their 1937 musical, “Babes in Arms,” but also evokes memories for all of us as to where or when we experienced the milestones of our lives. Join Tatum as she weaves a tapestry of memories in song and story, spanning the century of the 1920s through today, and including nostalgic numbers from the “Great American Songbook” of the early to mid-20th century. And you may be surprised at some tales of local history Tatum uses to punctuate her performance!
Tatum Langley grew up in Elmhurst and has established herself as a multi-genre vocalist, musical actress, and a featured performer in the international sensation, Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox, appearing throughout North America and Europe. Her online videos with PMJ have garnered millions of views as her popularity soars.
