Entry deadline: November 17, 2025
Date to drop off accepted entries in person: Monday, January 5, 2026 (12 – 4 pm)
Notification date about entry status: week of December 8, 2025
Exhibit dates: Saturday, January 10 – February 15, 2026
Artist Reception: Sunday, January 25, 2026 (2 – 4 pm)
Date to pick up work: Monday, February 16, 2026
Entry Requirements
- A non-refundable entry fee of $35.00 is due through the submission service, com, by Monday, November 17, 2025. Artists can enter up to 3 ORIGINAL pieces of artwork.
- All work is for sale and artists are responsible for insuring their own work.
- Artwork must be original in concept, execution and subject matter – NO giclees or reproductions
- Artists will be notified of the status of their entries by week of December 8 and will receive paperwork related
- All accepted work must meet preparation and display requirements to be exhibited in the Galleries.
- Work must be delivered in person by the artist or their approved representative.
- Work must be picked up at the end of the exhibit on Monday, February 16 (12 – 2 pm).
Artwork Preparation and Display Requirements:
Work that does not meet these requirements will not be installed.
- Artwork must have an artist’s I.D. label attached to the back of 2D work or bottom of 3D art that includes the artist’s name, title of the work, sale price and artist’s phone number.
- The Norris Gallery uses the Walker hanging system for 2D work. Saw tooth hangers cannot be used with this system. 2D work must be framed with hangers attached to the back of the work and connected with flexible hanging wire. 2D work cannot exceed 3’ x 3’ or equivalent dimensions. 2D work cannot weigh more than 40 pounds including glass or plexiglass and frame. Provide display stands if needed.
- There are three options to display 3D work:
- Smaller 3D work must fit in the locked glass display case and cannot exceed 20” tall x 18” wide x 12” deep, and a maximum weight of 20 pounds.
- Medium size 3D work can be displayed on pedestals provided by the artist or on one of the gallery pedestals (we have a limited number and size of pedestals – check with the gallery in advance.) Work cannot exceed 30 pounds and must be easily carried by gallery volunteers.
- Larger 3D work must be free-standing and be able to be displayed on the gallery floor. All larger work must fit through the gallery doors and must be easily moved by gallery volunteers.
- Display devices such as jewelry stands must be provided by the artist.
- If special display instructions are needed, such as for a diptych or triptych, artist must provide the instructions with the work. Volunteers will try to accommodate display requests.
- Information about show judge Jo Burke will be posted on the Norris website.
- Artists agree to allow NCAC to photograph and otherwise promote the artists and the exhibit in the Norris Gallery’s printed, online and social media formats.
