Elgin Symphony Orchestra presents its annual Holiday Brass Concert for the first time in St. Charles, December 5, at the Norris Cultural Arts Center.

On October 6 in the Norris Gallery, the ESO String Quartet will perform a concert of masterworks including a string quartet by the beloved French composer, Gabriel Faure, in centenary commemoration of his passing in 1924.

In “Chad Goodman, from the Podium,” the new conductor of the Elgin Symphony Orchestra will relate the story of his unexpected career in orchestral conducting, and share insights into current and future trends in classical music.
