Judy Garland comes alive in a loving “centennial” tribute performed by her greatest portrayer, Joan Ellison, May 21 at the Baker Community Center, St. Charles.

When you think of memorable film scores, two things may come to mind immediately – Disney films and The Wizard of Oz. The Dean-Dorhauer Jazz Orchestra plays Big Band versions of tunes from both in a concert they call, “The Wiz vs. Diz,” March 19 at the Baker Community Center, St. Charles.
