The internationally acclaimed NIU Steelband, under the direction of Liam Teague, returns to The Norris theater with a multi-genre concert to welcome Spring and shake off the Winter doldrums. You may feel the uncontrollable urge to get up and dance!
Founded in 1972 as the first steel pan ensemble at a major American university, the NIU Steelband has performed in venues throughout the U.S. and internationally, winning accolades and gaining recognition and followers wherever they appear.
